[My Assignment] The Beauty of Drini Beach in Gunung Kidul

The smell of ocean starts as you passed the long road ahead to the area of Gunung Kidul, Jogjakarta. Its white sand along with the lashed waves is worth a visit. Arrived in early morning, the fresh air will welcome you as with the sound of the sea and splashing wave. It’s one of the beautiful beaches, called Drini Beach.

Discover the beauty of Drini Beach is possible even in the tight time because it takes about two hours of driving from Yogyakarta city and only need about five thousand rupiahs to see this beautiful beach.

As you walks and explores the beach, you may find an island called Drini, that’s why the beach named Drini Beach. There are stairs to help you get to the top of the island. The enchanting view will accompany you on the top, along with the beautiful blues skies. Also, you can see fisherman is looking for seaweed and shells. Boats and stalls are lined up near the beach.  

By only bringing IDR 25.000, enough for you to have a breakfast or lunch with coconut drinks, fresh drinks and an instant noodle. Don’t worry about run of money, the drinks and the food is so compatible for sure. Therefore, you can’t miss a fascinating sun set in early evening and the fresh air in the early morning.
