The Jakarta Post: "Seno Gumira Ajidarma: No rest for the wicked"

Seno Gumora Ajidarma is a Rector of Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) and also known as a famous writer. 

One of his famous statement that is mentioned in the Profil Story "When journalism is silenced, literature must speak up", it was the title of his essay and part of his Incident Trilogy. Seno has written hundreds of short stories, essay, novels, and many others literary works. 

Literature student would familiar with his name for certain because he is also one of the influential writer in the literary world in our country. 

The beginning of the paragraph of this profile news tells Seno Aji as a Rector of IKJ, then the following sentences mentioned Seno as a prolific writer who had been productive at his age. From my perspective, introduced Seno Aji as one of the influential writers in Indonesia is way better than just telling he is a Rector of IKJ at the beginning. Although, it is not wrong for mentioning him as a Rector since being a rector of Arts Institute is also a big achievement to be well known.

The following paragraph tells about Seno Aji's first experience in writing and how writing has become his automatic process or lifestyle for himself. Writing is all about what he thinks while doing others activities, it affects him and his surrounding until now. We should consider that maybe in the old days, the Indonesia's writers should fight and struggle for voicing the freedom, but even until now we still fight for unseen enemies. We couldn't critics mass organization freely because there's still manner and law of journalism which is obtained. This is how literary works, to critics the side or parties with such a good way, through literary worlds. 

At the end of the paragraph, it stated Seno Aji's though, shows me as the reader good ending. How a works as in administrative area isn't such a burden. We could enjoy our duty, it depends on ourselves. As what Seno Aj said that he is like a farmer who cultivates the land, as he is now a rector who cultivates the seed in the Arts Institute, for preparing them to be a professional writer in the future. For me as the student of literature, this an inspiring profile story.
